Services for Oliver A. Steel, 74, who died of cancer Monday in his home, 2800 Keller Pkwy., Maplewood, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Charles A. Godbout & Son, 560 W. Seventh, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
In charge of services for Mr. Steel, who had been ill for six months, will be the Braden Masonic Lodge No. 168.
Mr. Steel was traffic manager of G. Sommers & Co. for 45 years and was employed by S & M Co. in Minneapolis for 14 years. He retired a year ago.
A native of Lake City, Mr. Steel moved to St. Paul with his family when he was 9 years old and he had resided in this area since.
Surviving are his wife, Rose M.; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Nelson, Mrs. Carl Hormann and Mrs. Bonita Smilow, all of St. Paul, and Mrs. Carrie Carlson of Couderay, Wis.
