The children were all with her till the last excepting one daughter living in Mo. who did not arrive until after the funeral. Mrs. Eighmey was 56 years one month and 14 days old at the time of her death. She was a faithful affectionate wife and a devoted mother, who will be greatly missed in the home circle. The bereaved family have the deep sympathy of their friends in his vicinity.
We miss thee from the home dear mother
We miss thee from thy place;
A shadow over our life is cast
We miss the sunshine of thy face.
We miss thy kind and willing hand
Thy fond and earnest care;
Our home is dark without thee
We miss thee everywhere.

‘Tis hard to break the tender cord
When love has bound the heart;
‘Tis hard so hard to speak the word
We must forever part.

Dearest loved one we must lay thee
in the peaceful graves embrace;
But thy memory will be cherished
Till we see thy heavenly face.9,37
