Funeral services for Grant S. Nelson, 28 years old, 1011 Linwood Place, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Masonic Temple, Sixth Street and Smith Avenue, with burial in Minnesota-Acacia Park Cemetery.
Braden Lodge of Masonic order will conduct the rites and members of Damascus commandery, Knights Templars, will serve as an escort. He was a member of both organizations.
Mr. Nelson, a lifelong resident of St. Paul, died Wednesday in Mounds Park sanitarium of rheumatic fever after an illness of nine months. He was employed ten years by G. Sommers & Co. after graduation from Mechanic Arts High School, and was an assistant buyer in the notion department at the time he became ill.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin M. Nelson, and two brothers Oliver and Howard.4
