Eva Vasey, 83, Rt. 1, Elk Mound; died on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 8, 1893, in the town of Spring Brook to Ed and May Cumming Eighmy. She lived in Dunn County all her life. On Oct. 21, 1914, she married Julius Vasey. They farmed in Spring Brook township until they retired in 1960.
Services were held Oct. 19 at Olson Funeral Home with the Rev. Milton Ford officiating. Burial was in Forest Center Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Julius, at home; one son, Donald Vasey, Rt. 1, Elk Mound; two brothrs: Ole and Percy Eighmy, both of Menomonie; four sisters: Mrs. Martha Hillman, Menomonie, Mrs. Alva Stewart, rural Eau Claire, Mrs. Emma Ames, rural Elk Mound, and Mrs. Luella Douglas, Eau Claire; and three grandchildren.39
