Mrs. Bessie Eighmy Bashaw, 64, a resident of Jamestown, N.D., died at the Sacred Heart hospital, Eau Claire, Wednesday night, while here visiting her brother, Ed Eighmey, Dunn County, and her sister, Mrs. Blanch Sly, Eau Claire.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Home, the Rev. J.A. Wright of the Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment was in Forest Center cemetery.
Bessie Eighmey was born March 14, 1882 at Chetek. She was married to Sherman Bashaw on Thanksgiving Day in 1900. He preceded her in death in 1929. To this union three children were born. The daughter, Mrs. Bert Harriman, died in 1932.
She leaves to mourn her loss, Russell and Lyle, Jamestown, N.D.; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her brother, Ed Eighmey; and four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Frasier, Rice Lake; Mrs. Blanche Sly, Eau Claire; Mrs. Winnie Taylor, Superior; and Mrs. Myrtle Houchin, Kelliher, Minn.4
