Obituary
Julius Vasey, 82, Rt. 1, Elk Mound, died on Tuesday, March 28, at Yuma regional Medical Center in Yuma, Ariz.
He was born on June 10, 1895, in Dunn County to John and Agnes Harshman Vasey. He married Eva Eighmy on Oct. 21, 1914, in the town of Springbrook.
He farmed in the town of Springbrook until he retired in 1960. He was a member of the Springbrook town board and worked for the ASC office for 20 years.
Services were held on Saturday, April 1 at Olson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Milton Ford officiating. Burial was in Forest Center Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Donald, Rt. 1, Elk Mound; a sister, Hazel Chapman; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva, on Oct. 16, 1976.39
